Asking for early induction

i post this in the hope I won't get hate and hurtful comments , I guess this could be seen as a controversial request, firstly the health of my baby is most important and always will be no matter what she will come first. My question/query is , can I ask to be induced at 38-39 weeks, I am suffering with antenatal depression and severe anxiety leading to me being totally isolated I have reached out to my midwife and consultant for help though there doesn't seem to be much they can do, of course if there was any risk to my baby then I wouldn't consider it, my question is, could it be an option?

Read the NICE guidelines on Induction of Labour. From what it says you can request induction from 40 weeks for exceptional circumstances. Please speak to your mw or consultant as they will be able to help x

Not sure what the guidelines say but my DSIS was induced at 37 weeks for MH reasons. She had a normal labour, a very healthy 8lber and was out within 24 hours. She also was SO much happier.

This was 14 years ago so I don't know the guidelines now.
