Planned c section for second baby

I had my little boy by EMCS at 35 weeks. I had no labour. My waters went at home and he was transverse lie hence the emergency section. Whilst having the section the surgeon told me that my uterus is split in 2. It's basically half the size it should be and I was lucky to get to 35 weeks. This was news to me although not entirely surprising as my bump was very lop sided.

So, my question. I am thinking about other children now and my EMCS was quite traumatic. Would they schedule me in for a planned section at 35 weeks or not?

I think you ought to speak to a consultant/ gynaecologist before even trying to conceive again.
From what you say, a planned caesarean will be likely; but usually even the ones for urgent medical reasons are done as late as possible, and 35w is very early.
I think you first need to establish if you can carry a baby to term, or if not what the options are.

Ask your GP to be referred to the obstetricians for a pre-pregnancy appt. You really need to speak to them, with the operation note, to allow a plan on both sides to be made.
