Went into pre-term labour last night at 31 weeks had steroids and on a hormone drip to stop contractions- baby is breach so after second steroid injection at 2am tonight I'll be taken off my drip and if labour starts again I'll be taken to theatre Confused so terrified and so bored and Lonley in hospital I have no tv no curtains so it's bright and horrible and all around me I can hear women safely having their babies ð???

You are in a safe place. Do you have support from partner/family?

pippinleaf · 28/09/2014 21:35

Not nice to be on your own and feeling lonely. Hand holding here. I think at 31 weeks your baby would be ok if it were born. I was told they would stop scanning my cervix at 24 weeks as after that there were things they could do to save the baby if it were born.

Do you have an iPod or something to keep you busy? X

How are you doing this morning OP? Hope everything's ok

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 29/09/2014 08:45

Hope everything is ok OP! i went in around the same point with preterm labour and thankfully they were able to stop my contractions. Had the steroids and was able to come home after two days. Now sat here 37 weeks overhinking every twinge and niggle

Hope they are able to get your labour stopped, but if not you and baby will be in very safe hands.
