Anyone have diarrhoea before labour?

I had diarrhoea just before going into labour with my daughter. I'm now 36 weeks with my second and had diarrhoea last night so wondering if it means labour is imminent again...

I did with dc1 but not 2. Have you got any other signs?

I did with DC1, bad d+v, 48 hours later I was in labour.
Had d+v a few weeks ago but didn't go into labour again even though I was expecting to, just a bug I think.

I did. Lots. Oh and i also vomited copiously!

Thanks ladies. Went to midwife yest and baby's head right down on my cervix. Have also been feeling 'periody'... Not real pain, just uncomfortable..

I had diarrhoea whilst in labour with DC2, that was a barrel of laughs I tell you

Yep, d+v for about 4 days before dd made here entrance into the world two weeks early. I also could barely eat, which is very unlike me glutton.

No little peanut yet! Still the periody crampy feelings but no baby!

ah OP- I had that periody crampy feeling too- was labour starting- went on for 48 hours- when I finally went to hospital first nurse I spoke to said was nothing but when they measured me I was fully dilated- my waters hadn't broken and that was only thing stopping my DS being born- 30 mins later there he was! so- this could be it! good luck

I had it on and off in the last month but there's so much squashing going on in there I'm not surprised.

I did with my first, but not with my second.
Massive cleaning/nesting a couple of days before hand second time round. I felt great which was about it for the whole pregnancy

I had diarrhea when I was in labour and couldn't tell what was diarrhea and what was contraction. I went to the hospital to be sure what was what and found out I was 8cms dilated.

I'm having the same ATM. I am due on Tuesday but was induced last time so no symptoms at all. Felt off last night but had what felt like diarrhoea cramps (very high up, at the top of my tummy). Two bouts of diarrhoea at about 5am and them 11am.

Am I mad to think this could be the start of things or is more likely that I've just got a tummy bug?
