Anyone had a bloody show and NOT gone into labour? Sorry TMI!

I am 37 weeks, have section booked in 3 weeks due to 2 previous EMCS. I have been having what I think are bloody shows for the last 3 days - sort of gooey dark blood blobs. I phoned labour ward and they seem unconcerned but it seems to be going on for ages.

Anyone had this?

I went into labour the evening mine started coming out but I know people who have had it for a while before going into labour, don't think it always indicates imminent labour or need for you to go in like waters

I have. 2 weeks ago after sweep at 39 weeks. Have been 2 cm dilated for a week and still no labour.

Yes. Was induced at 40+15.

Lost mine at wkend, have had a few niggles & pains but nothing else. I've heard this can go on for wks!

I lost mine between 36-37 weeks. I went to 40+4 before my waters went.

I wouldn't worry. My MW told me it doesn't mean labour is imminent (and I was so excited!)

My show was coming away for two weeks in bits and had nothing , lost it all n had no labour, just means your gettin ready x

I went into labour within 24 hours with both of mine

I was 10 days from a huge show (on my due date) to labour starting at 40+10 with DC1. With DC2 I had a show at 37+ weeks, and then an ELCS around a week later (I forget exactly how long, but a reasonable amount of time) with no sign of labour.

Yep with dd I had a show at 39 weeks and was induced at 42 weeks as she hadn't made an appearance!!

To update - show at wkend, waters went the following Friday.

I noticed my contractions as soon as I noticed the show. Had the baby a day and a half later. However I know someone who had their show but eventually had to be induced about two weeks later
