Bit embarrassing! But had my dd 6 months ago and had a fair few stitches. I recovered quite quickly but I do find just lately that when I run or dance I leak a bit. Absolutely fine when I cough or sneeze. So embarrassed about this, I love dancing if we are at a party but I'm now too embarrassed just in case. Is this fairly normal still? Do I just need to be patient?? Blush

I'm still like this 18 months after! Only when I do sport that includes jumping like netball (or dancing when drinking) I'm afraid I have to use tena ladies. When I sneeze etc theres no issue only when I jump around a lot

Sorry - I hope it's better for you! Apparently kegals can help, and physio and if nothing works you can get an operation. It's called stress incontinence.

Common, but can be helped. Search for threads on here by gussiegrips.Smile

Are you doing your pelvic floor exercises every day?

dottypyjamas · 09/08/2014 17:33

Agree pelvic floor exercises are the way to go - that and,for me, time - after about 8 months things were back to normal when I exercised. In the mean time perhaps up the kegals and use a pad for exercise? I would say to go to Docs if it doesn't improve though - you don't have to live with it. Agree search for gussiegrips on here.

Hope it gets better soon
