Back to back labour - standalone or attached midwife led unit

My baby is back to back since 38 weeks and I'm now nearly 40 weeks. I was planning on going to a standalone midwife unit 15 mins from hospital as they let oh's stay over night and each delivery suite has a birthing pool. But with the increased chances of requiring intervention I'm wondering if I just just go to the midwife led unit which is actually attached to the hospital. They don't let oh's stay over night and they they only have 1 birthing pool so much less likely to be able to use it.

I guess I'm wondering what it is like to be transferred in an ambulance for 15 minutes? And of it will be more stressful or higher risk...

For a different reason (pre-existing medical condition) I had the option of a midwife lead unit practically across the road from my house next to our local hospital, or one 6 miles down the road whereby the labour ward is up on the next floor. I know in my case, I chose the one with the labour ward nearby as the 6 mile journey from MW lead unit to hospital is down a busy dual carriage way which is renowned for accidents and as such, babies being born in the layby!

I think (IMO) it is better to be somewhere where help can be sought asap rather than having the stress of being transferred etc but of course, it's each to their own x
