Slow labour

I appear to be in slow labour, which is a surprise after the last two literally flew out. Spent through the night being sick with inconsistant contractions all today. Lower back is killing me and feel like my pelvis is being pulled apart.
Any advise on slow labour as i really thought i would be done in hours.

Good luck if it's still going on. Sounds like my labour - lots of walking up and down stairs and nipple twiddling Blush got things moving for me. Can't believe the mumsnet massive missed a potential live labour thread!

Have you had the baby yet? I was in labour for three days before they took me for emergency section after i failed to progress beyond 8cm :(
