Am I in labour?

Or is it nothing?

My belly keeps going hard, but not all over... Just in certain areas! It's normally at least half of my belly, but the other side will still be soft?
I've had heart palpitations throughout pregnancy but they have been worse today, maybe the heat?
And I keep getting shooting pains from the right hand middle side of my belly up to where I imagine my heart is.... It's very 'internal' pain and not like it's on the surface iykwim?

37+4, home alone with dd, dp on a business trip 5 hours away until this time tomorrow.... So ideally I don't want to be in labour!!

Can only go by my own experience but my labour started with mild period like pains that gradually got worse until I could no longer sleep through them - I don't know if I was lucky, I got to 4cm and could still quite comfortably talk to my dp...

So it could well be early labour - with where you are in your pregnancy especially! I would get yourself checked, because anything described as shooting pain in late pregnancy is surely better safe than sorry.

I haven't got any pain at all well, not new pain!
Mhm... I have a dc already, but I was induced as my waters broke and labour never started, so feel like such a newbie!

Think il wait it out for now and see what happens.....
