Trouble with tampons

I'm 10 weeks post csection of dd2. I haven't had a "proper period" but am on day 3 of first withdrawal bleed off the pill and tampons just feel sore. I'd understand if I had stitches down below to contend with but I had an elcs. I'm not breastfeeding. Am I just odd?!

Try a mooncup?

I haven't had a c-section but I have had two babies, and since I had them I find that my nether regions are sore during the first couple of days of my period...so sore that I cannot use a tampon/mooncup. My GP just puts this down to hormonal changes. Possibly similar for you? I know you're on the pill but you will have a hormonal dip during the withdrawal bleed I think? I know that lack of oestrogen can cause vaginal soreness...

Why do they freak you out?

Can vaginal dryness be the cause?
