stomach like pains week after giving birth

As I got such good advice re stitches thought I'd ask another question!

Been getting random mild pains kind of all over upper abdo region for a few days. Thought they were just related to back ache (due to bad feeding posture) but now that's better they're more noticeable. Just had a Google and read about infection of uterus. Not sure if they're too high though?

Any thoughts/experience?

Thanks!

Your uterus continues to contract back down after you've given birth - can keep on going for a couple of weeks afterwards. If you're concerned it'll be worth checking with your midwife.

Thanks, I'll ask midwife when I see her tomorrow. Last time I was seen they said my uterus had fully contracted so I presumed it couldn't be that I was feeling? Feels a bit more constant, kind of like indigestion but in wrong place!

I've had this after a few of my babies, I think it's just all the intestines/stomach etc settling back into the right place after they have been pushed and squished into a different position during the pregnancy.

Thank you! Turns out it was the antibiotics I'm on ramping up to give me horrendous diarrhoea (sorry if TMI!) At least I know now!
