What comes in a home birth pack?

Hiya I'm planning a homebirth and my MW is doing a home visit next week and said she will bring the homebirth pack.
Just wondered if anyone knows what's in it?
Will she be bringing gas and Air so I could have it early if necessary (although hated it last time and didn't use it until I was being stitched).
Curious as to what's in this pack.

Very unusual to provide entonox (gas and air) as it should be set up by a midwife. They tend to bring that with them when they come to you in labour.

The homebirth pack normally includes equipment for the midwife... Non sterile and sterile gloves, suturing equipment, delivery pack which has episiotomy scissors, swabs etc, Inco pads, emergency bits as well like cannulas, blood taking equipment, needles.
Midwives bring their drugs in their own bag which they bring on the day

Varies hugely depending on your trust. For example 2 Neighbouring trusts here, in one you get a bin liner size bag with emergency supplies in. Basically a few bits and bobs. The midwife will bring everything else, delivery pack etc with her. The other trust you get 2 huge boxes with all of the stuff in for birth, baby and emergencies including oxygen cylinder. Everything except the gas and air cylinder which will be in the MW's car.

I'm not sure if mine brought anything beforehand, but they had everything they needed when I went into labour, including gas and air.

Had a look in mine, there were some inco pads and a sick bowel thing... didn't dig to the bottom, though. Good luck for your homebirth!

It won't have the gas and air as that should be used under medical supervision. Most areas it's a lot of boring iconopads, sick bowls, suture kits, etc.

Mine came with a huge tank of gas & air on a trolley. They made sure we had somewhere safe to put it before it was delivered so suppose whether you get it or not depends on the hospital. Also had a big lidded box with their medical supplies, a mini version of the heated lamp thingy where they dry the baby, suctioning equipment for the baby etc and a set of scales.

Gosh! My last mw told me they basically don't deliver it almost anywhere now because there was too much 'recreational use' going on. Did they bring the mouthpiece on the day to avoid you/your partner playing with it?

I was hoping the packs would be more exciting - not sure what I consider exciting lol.

It was all there inc the mouthpieces but they were all in a bag, all the hoses etc had to be put on by the midwife when she arrived (turns out she couldn't work out how to do it so ambulance crew did it when they arrived).
