Reuseable maternity pads?

Just wondering if anyone has used reuseable maternity pads. I've switched to cloth for normal periods and am not keen to have weeks of disposables again (from a comfort rather then ethical standpoint)
I know the first few days I'll probably do witchhazel frozen pads again and be too busy and tired to deal with reusable but I was thinking after the first week.
If you did use them how many did you have? I've got a few maxi ones at the moment but not loads how many would I need?

I only used maternity pads for one week. After that I used panty liners as there was hardly any blood loss. Id wait and see to be honest.

I think you could use your normal ones after a couple of days. I am on day 4 now and don't need the maternity pads now, I will be getting some small pads today.

Yeah I can't remember how long it was heavy for.

Not buying any extra sounds like a good plan. Just see how I go. I could of course be like oh these loveley thick cushions are great! Although they are really expensive in oz like $1 a pad!

Hazchem what do you normally use? I use a moon cup for periods and hated those weeks of uncomfortable maternity pads last time I had a baby.

I've had a bit of a look around online for cloth pads but they seem quite expensive, any recommendations??

I use a "the keeper" cup and then cloth panty liners as back. I have three brands mama minx, one I can;t remember but my favorite are Baby behinds. They are quite thin but good and they have nicer patterns on the back then the others.

I'd consider making some myself for use as maternity pads cause then they could be chucked away if they got too gross.
I had to use maternity pads recently because if miscarriage and I didn't like it. all a bit sticky or something.
