Dc1 - overdue induced vaginal birth with ventouse delivery due to lack of movement (under 4 hour labour) but too late aas she suffered oxygen loss and brain damage.

Dc2 - consultants initially supportive of natural labour but with no support by 30w a CS was booked. CS went pear shaped but baby ok. A year later I am still in pain, internal and external scans show no cause but I cannot lift my older child without pain. Yesterday she fell and I carried her for a few minutes, today I have been unable to go to work as my stomach hurts so much.

So. The subject of dc3 has come up. I see three options. A VBAC. A trial of labour possibly with induction at 41w, or don't even go there you foolish idiot you've two children (one healthy) and you're alive.

Thoughts? Would I be allowed a VBAC? My first birth had placental failure due to being overdue, my second (CS) I was 100ml off a transfusion after a bleed caused again by a placenta issue ans was really very much unwell afterwards.

Isn't there a fourth option of an elective CS?

I am not sure I could elect for this length of recovery a second time. I think I'd rather have no more children than knowingly walk into theatre again.

Conceiving with the knowledge I could opt for a vbac and only have a cs if emergency would be preferable.

I do pregnancy perfectly. Just delivery I seem to be shit at.
