Stockist for Aquaborn birth pool?

Hi all. My wife's very tall and was recommended to get an Aquaborn birthing pool as it's apparently deeper. But, i can't find anyone supplying them in the UK. Does anyone here have one? If so, where did you get it? thanks!

I can't help with stockists, but how tall? I'm tall and have never had issues with a regular pool.

Hi Penguins. She's 6 foot. Which pool have you used? I hear a lot about Birth Pool in a Box, that was what i was going to get before the midwife told her about the Aquaborn one. cheers

Ok, I'm only 5'9/5'10 ish, so tall for a woman but not as tall as your wife.

I hired birth pool in a box (the professional grade one, but think the design is the same) and it was lovely and deep.

I've also had a pool from Born in Water. Not quite as deep I don't think, but still fine for the positions I wanted. And lovely to float in beforehand.

Thanks. My feeling is that the birth pool in a box will be deep enough...

You might find someone who can let your wife climb into it (without water) and try it out?

www.birthpoolinabox.co.uk/personal-pools/birth-pool-in-a-box-choose-your-size This website says even the Mini can do up to 6'. Although I'd go for the next size up if you can.
