I'm not a runner at all but I want to start c25k. My six week check is next week, will I be able to start it soon after? I need to shift 17lbs to squeeze into a bikini in august!

I wouldn't run just yet. I didn't go back to the gym until 12 weeks post section. I started training for race for life at 4 months and it hurt, the scar felt tender and pulled so I han to slow down.

It's a major op and the internal scars take longer to heal than what you can see in the outside. I hate even missing a day of exercise but after my sections I laid low until I was properly healed, it wasn't worth the risk.
