2 wks to dc4... #1 was born overdue and I used the epi and forseps delivery. It was a nice experience. #2&3 were fast and furious births, one that my DH missed and the other we just arrived at the hospital for..the 2nd was particularly horrific in terms of pain and because of this I am totally TERRIFED of what's ahead.
Iv got a large rectocele as a result of the fast labours and dread the thoughts of even further damage (to my now perfectly functioning bladder for eg).
My consultant has suggested inducing me @39wks and using the EPI as soon as I feel contractions, so that I wouldn't push as furiously in an attempt to cause less damage and of course have a calmer ecperience.
My question is tho... Is forceps more l likely on subsequent pregnancies as well with EPI it is it just #1?
