Just that really.... 40 weeks today and for three nights I have felt like things were starting - only to have them stop!

Get woken up with diarrhoea (sorry), strong tightenings and cramping. keeps me awake for an hour/ two and then fades away.

Any suggestions to help things along and stop me going insane?!
Non stop bouncing on ball, short walks, raspberry capsules etc have all been done to death Angry

I just had the exact same thing for most of this week until ds4 finally arrived yesterday evening.

It's very frustrating isn't it? Hopefully will mean a shorter labour though as your body is already doing all the prep work :-)

Hope things kick off soon!

Dates. A very small study found that women who eat dates in the lead up to birth tend to go into labour earlier and have shorter labours. They need to be fresh not dried. in case you want to read it

I had a long stop start labour and tried to remind myself that each contraction was one I didn't have to have in active labour. Hope things get going soon.
