So - just been for a second sweep at 9 days over. Scored the same as the last one so have just had a little blub about that.... But as an aside, I can't have the pessary or drip for induction due to medical reasons so it looks like waters will be broken, followed by a Foley catheter induction.
I really desperately wanted to labour at home for as long as possible like last time - minimising the amount of time away from home. The baby is less engaged than it was last week so to say I'm feeling a bit demoralised is an understatement! I just let the midwife 'sweep' until she had to stop due to hand cramp so I'm feeling a bit 'unusual' too!
So - anyone out there had a Foley catheter induction and how did it go? And a big hand-hold to all you other overdue ladies out there. I feel your pain!
