When can I have another sweep done?.....desperate now

40 +3 with DS3 and now utterly climbing the walls.....!! Cervix soft but closed on Tuesday...so not sure if MW did full sweep but definitely I felt pain.... strong contractions last night but only one an hour and nothing now.

Due to have next sweep nxt Tuesday....should I try and get another today/tomorrow? Have been doing as much as poss to keep active (difficult with PSD and another two young DDs!).

Anything, any advice would be so much appreciated as I feel like I am at the end of the road now.......

Oh I remember that misery all too well! In my area they will only do sweeps on term+3 and term+7 (or as near after as poss). They will not do them before and that's it. No compromise
If your MW are a bit more amenable I would definitely ask but maybe don't pin your hopes on it! and good luck with the new baby!

I am 40+2, and I has a sweep yesterday and my cervix was closed but it was soft. I also was having real bad pains last night, I thought I was going to go into labour but nothing happened.

I dont have a date for another sweep I just have a date to be induced.

I had one last night an hour and half later I think I lost my plug. But I'm never having another one the pain was unbearable , I've had no pains or anything other than plug so mines defo not worked.
