I was due 2 days ago, on the 15th, I had a sweep yesterday but my cervix is still closed. I have an induction date for the 25th April, that is 8 days away I don't think I could wait that long. I found out very early on in my pregnancy that I was pregnant and waiting another 8 days will be like a life time.

I was having bad pains in my lower stomach and my lower back last night they were on and off and lasted for about 2 hours but they are away now and there is no sign on them coming back.

If anyone has any idea's to get labour before the 25, I really don't want to have been induced, so if anyone has any idea's let me know ASAP.

I can beat that, I was due 8 days ago on the 9th Grin
I'm afraid these babies really do just come when they're ready. Induction isn't always so bad either. I was induced with ds and it was quick with just breathing through contractions. Heading that way with this one too when we'd again planned for a home water birth. Get used to a tiny person dictating your life!

Hope things start happening for you soon

I went 10 days over last week. Avoided induction by a couple of days. It was awful. The longest 10 days of my life. I was having bad Braxton hicks the whole time too which made it worse. I had 3 sweeps - but only the one when is already started having mild pains worked.

I walked a lot, this helped baby move into position for birth. It hurt like hell, but definitely got things moving. I also had a chilli with plenty of jalapeƱos and a glass of wine. Was up all night with heartburn and then started having mild pain at 5am.

Fwiw, once baby arrives you will totally forget about all the frustration of waiting around!
