38 weeks today and I've been uncomfortable all day. I've started getting waves of period pain type aches in my back in short waves, which is how it started with DS1. They aren't coming with much regularity at the moment, but it's just got a familiar feeling.

Could be something or nothing!

Ooh exciting! You should probably alert your midwife/labour ward - my 2 nd DS was born 3 hours after these pains! Good luck

I wouldn't get too excited. I was woken every 30mins by pains Tuesday night all night, then they stopped. Thursday night I had contractions every 10 mins for over 6 hours, plus another 12 hours of irregular contractions, then they stopped again. Now nothing happening other than the fact that I am really tired!

DS1 was much quicker!!

It's all gone quiet now. Wishful thinking!
