Hi there
I wanted to do an online/delivery shop of all the "chemisty" bits I will need (formula, creams etc) - anyone recommend where baby bits can be bought most reasonably?
Thanks!

Boots when on 3 for 2, now :)

Also you get your points too. Love their nappies.

Question what stage formula you wanting to get

StrawberryTartYum · 08/02/2014 00:39

I made the most of being baby-free and started stocking up from about 30 weeks ( DS is 5 weeks old and I don't think I will need to buy wipes or baby bath for months!) a mix of wilkinsons, boots and branded products from poundshops. I loved getting everything together!
And can I second Mrswellyboot on boots nappies! Just be careful you don't go overboard on them I had a hamper full of nappies from various shops to try different brands out but they were all first size and he outgrew them a few weeks ago so I have lots of tiny ones left over face palm

I love asdas little Angel nappies pampers wipes and little Angel bath stuff from asda all a pound works all the same as branded stuff just half the price

Sainsburys is the cheapest for aptamil formula at the moment and aldi nappies and cotton wool pads are the best and cheapest imo don't do on line delivery though

Don't overstock. Baby may be allergic/sensitive to nappies/creams/formula

I second don't buy too much my lo v sensitive skin and we can only use 1 type of wipes and nappies. She is also not allowed soap, oil etc as everything that goes on her skin is on prescription. So lots wasted for us.

I also usually stock up on :
Sudo cream - nappy rash cream
Lansinoh - nipple cream
Lavender -pure essential oil, good in the bath for stitches and nappy rash
Fibogel - helps you when you 'go' postpartum, useful if you have had stitches.

Cotton wool balls - just in case newborn is sensitive to nappy wipes.
