Twins!

Overwhelmed with excitement to welcome Mary Frances and Albert Henry into the world this month! Grin

But what's childbirth like with twins?? Is it much harder, more painful etc.??

I have two beautiful DCs already. I gave birth to my ds when I was 16, and it was a very easy birth. Dd's birth 4 years later was a little harder (retained placenta and moody midwife Angry), but not too bad.

I haven't given birth in 7 years, and I'm really scared about the pain, especially with twins.

So are there any of you who've had a multiple birth before? What was it like??

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Awww twins Grin twice the fun.
I've never had twins but I am a twin and my mum only says good things about having two at once.
She had a normal delivery, we were born 20 minutes apart and she said even looking after us as babies isn't a daunting as people make outGrin.
She said its lovely as they get a little older as they entertain each other with their antics Wink.
Wishing you all the best

Congratulations! I can't offer advice, only support. I am also having twins which week be induced at 36 weeks which is first week of March. I have decided to have an epidural a early as possible in the birth and then hopefully I won't care what is going on at the business end!
I have one dd already and she was born with the help of forceps and I had to have an episiotomy, I'm praying that the recovery is less painful this time.
Keep us posted and good luck. X

Congratulations. I have 2 sets of twins but had c-sections with them both so can't answer your questions x

Thanks for all your help and advice guys! :)

I'm hoping to have an epidural early in the birth, too.
I'm being induced on 15th Feb! Very excited and very scared xx

Let me know how you get on with the induction. I am hoping mine make an appearance on their own before I have to be induced. Heard that it can go on for three days! I hope your induction goes quickly for you.

Thanks Franchini! I hope so, too xx
