2nd pregnancy. 38 weeks. Well the last couple of days I have been for quite a lot bowel movements and getting aches on my lower tummy and back. But last night when I went to bed I kept feeling the baby move and push down into my pelvis (lightening) but then after that it started to feel like period pains, then turned into regular contractions every 10 mins, didn't feel like Braxton hicks because they got stronger, and radiated down my belly and around my back.. But after about 3 hours it completely stopped! Why is this, what could it be? It's my second pregnancy. I don't remember feeling like this

maybe call your mw if you haven't already?
How are you feeling today?

My midwife is useless, she's away soo don't have an appointment till day before my due date. And same as before really just keep getting contractions and they keep going again.. Frustrating cos I get to the stage I think omg this is it. Then they stop! :(

same here.... nearly 39 weeks and some really strong bh etc and keep thinking this is it... but it isn't. just go with it till its unbearable or waters go etc!
then you know its the real thing.... that's my.motto anyway!!

I'm in the same boat. I'm 39.3 weeks and have had constant strong BH for 6 weeks. They're driving me mad, they don't hurt but are very uncomfortable and sometimes they trick me into thinking it's the start of the real thing.
