I feel the urge to push for a wee but feel like
My
Insides are trying to come out! So hard to explain but I will sit on the loo for about 45 mins at a time pushing but nothing.. Why could this be? My backs also aching quite a bit today..

When I had my first DD this could've been was on the loo for ages with pushing sensation then pains got really bad! By the time we got to the hospital I was 10cm dilated and had her in about 30 minutes! Don't want to alarm you but it may be the start of labour Wink

It's normal to have a 'good clean out' before the baby comes, so it might just means that you're close, which, given that you are 38 weeks is quite likely. As long as the poos are healthy poos, I wouldn't worry. The need to pee could be a UTI. Very common, but you should get it seen to.

All of that said, if you have any concerns at all, speak to your midwife and get yourself checked out.

As someone who gave birth 48h ago overdue I can attest that spotting labour signs can drive you crazy.

Need to poo - yep that happened at start of both my labours. Need to wee- are you sure that's not just lousy pelvic floor from carrying baby?

That says it sounds promising. Hope things move quickly for you.

Exactly what happened to me for whole week before labour - turned out it was my body clearing out in preparation for labour. It kept my baby weight down! Sounds like the onset to me!
