How long was it for you between having a show and contractions or waters breaking?

TIA

Woke up, found a little wet patch on the bed (was fore waters), went straight to the loo and had show, then the lovely clear out, a few hours later contractions started.

I had a show and my contractions started there & then i then had ds 16 hrs later, with dd though i had my show about 40 mins before i started puching so i think it differs alot.

eenywifemum · 01/08/2006 14:52

ooh pucca I am so excited for you!

intergalacticwalrus · 01/08/2006 14:54

I had a show about 30 mins before my waters broke, and within 20 seconds of that I was having contractions every 2 mins!

I don;t want to rain on your parade Pucca, but sometimes it can take a while for labour to satrt after a show, but at least you know the END IS NIGH!

Labour has always started within 12 hours of having a show. Sometimes within 2 hours later.

quootiepie · 01/08/2006 15:29

i had show during labour.

TuttiFrutti · 01/08/2006 15:45

I had a show at 8am the day I was being induced. Was induced at 9pm, and natural labour hadn't started before that, but it did kick off really quickly which probably meant I would have gone into labour naturally quite soon.

Tippytoes · 01/08/2006 15:47

I had a show on the Monday afternoon - waters broke 7.30am Tuesday morning - contractions started Tuesday evening

Xavielli · 01/08/2006 19:00

DS - never saw a show!

DD - 3 weeks before she was born!

sarahlou1uk · 02/08/2006 19:26

Didn't have show or have waters break until I was pushing ds out in the hospital birthing pool!

Axolotl · 02/08/2006 19:37

Pucca
Even though technically it can be two weeks (fraid so), I had a show both times and with number one, labour followed within about ten hours and with 2, over a couple of days. Good luck!

Stefallie · 03/08/2006 14:29

hello

Had a show after 11 and a half hour labour - 1 hour before I had her!

Good Luck
