4cm dilated - we are good to go!

Ok so I'm 39+2 and my waters broke at 22.30 and been having regular (and very painful) contractions since and I am now 4cm dilated and ready to go on the labour ward. Wahooooo but ouchhhhh!

So after 17 hours of established labour we finally have our baby boy. Weighed in at 7lb 13oz and he is beautiful. Needed a forceps assisted delivery though and I have to say it was the scariest moment of my entire life. But we are blessed with a gorgeous healthy boy. He smells so good Smile and thanks for the good wishes fellow mums xxx
