4cm dilated - we are good to go!

Ok so I'm 39+2 and my waters broke at 22.30 and been having regular (and very painful) contractions since and I am now 4cm dilated and ready to go on the labour ward. Wahooooo but ouchhhhh!

Just realized this was a while ago - hope you are cuddling your new baby!

So after 17 hours of established labour we finally have our baby boy. Weighed in at 7lb 13oz and he is beautiful. Needed a forceps assisted delivery though and I have to say it was the scariest moment of my entire life. But we are blessed with a gorgeous healthy boy. He smells so good and thanks for the good wishes fellow mums xxx
