Do more movements mean labour is coming??

Hi guys.

I'm 38+5 and for the past few hours I've had some strange movements. He seems more active at the moment, not kicking but wriggling and shifting. I don't think I have had my show yet but does more movements mean labour is coming or am I clutching at straws?

It didn't for me I'm afraid but every baby's different ... good luck when it does start :)

I know it's a bit early yet. I think I'm just being hopeful. I'm so fed up with this pregnancy lark! Ty for the good luck

Movement could well be baby shifting into position, but doesn't necessarily mean labour is soon to start. Could be days or weeks yet, op. Is this your first?

Yes MissPryde this is my first. Everything that's a little different I keep thinking yay it's time. I reckon he's too comfy in there!

39+3 baby has been doing some odd shiver like moves. Always a wriggler, am now getting some weird movements so like you Im hoping its 'a sign'.

I can't face another week or so of SPD and wondering when babs going to show.

Yay zen some positive news hehe. Let's keep our fingers and toes crossed, although your a week ahead of me so I'm guessing your little one is going to make an appearance before mine. I've got a lazy one (just like his dad ) that only wriggles a little during the night. Congratulations btw!
