Post partum bleeding - is this normal?

I had ds nearly 3 weeks ago. Like the others I had practically stopped bleeding with just a small amount of browny discharge.

Now for TMI

Last night I needed a poo and realised in wiping that I had started bleeding bright red blood again. It was very bright but tapered off pretty quickly. I have done nothing for two days so was not down to doing too much but I thought maybe straining the poo did it so thought nothing of it.

Today there has been nothing on the pad but again this evening I needed a poo (very regular person) and the same thing has happened but slightly more.

Should I be worried due to the colour of blood?

I had red blood from my piles after having a poo so could it be that?
Did you have stitches after the birth as could also be bleeding from them

No stitches not even a graze. Bleeding is coming from vagina but seems to be aggravated by the need for the loo.

if I was in your position I would call the delivery ward and explain to a midwife as its still quite early days post delivery,
