Hi ladies!

I was wondering how long the after birth bleeding was meant to last?

I had my baby on boxing day, and it seemed to slow down last week but it has suddenly become heavy and red again the last 2 days is that normal?
Have any of you had this?

Thanks !!

I bled for nearly 8 weeks with both mine. Hte GP said it was normal, although did send me for a scan with the first one at 6 weeks just to make sure all was OK.

Sounds normal to me. I too bled for 8 weeks last time. It completely disappeared for a week at 5/6 weeks pp. When it started again I thought it was my period at first but I didn't actually get that back until 10.5 months.
Being active is supposed to make it heavier - have you been particularly busy lately?

Mine lasted about 4 weeks then my period has come at week 6/7 but think it's different for everyone.

I had an emcs and am not able to bf so that may affect it. I also found it was heavier when I was more active x
