Dd1 waters didn't until she was crowning

Dd2 first sign of labour.

What do you think will happen with my dc3???

Both age gaps will be 18/19m

I'd just love to know the chances of waters going first again or not as I've had both versions lol

Unpredictable factors of childbirth !

DC1 my waters must have gone at some point but was more of a trickle than a gush and midwives and I didn't notice.

DC2 they didn't go. I was fully dilated and midwife offered to pop them to speed things up, which she did, and it did!

I have 5 dc, 2 inductions where they ruptured my membranes for me, 1 where they accidently broke my waters upon examination, but with my last 2 births my waters went in bed many many hours before labour followed.

I've read that only 30% of women waters are first sign of labour! and it usually means bad positioning! or fetal distress.

In my case dd2 was back to back.

What else could be indications for why waters would be a first sign?

little ray where did you read that waters breaking could be an indicator of fetal distress? Sorry to ask such a direct question, it's just that my son's labour began this way and he wasn't badly positioned so now I'm worried that he was distressed in some way! (8 months on he's never shown any sign of having been distressed, but that fact has really stressed me out!)

I can't remember where, but will try to find it.

I just really feel anxious for which way it'll swing this time as first waters didn't break until crowning, and second popped first!
