Do babies movements tend to increase or decrease when labour is starting?

I'm sure it's decrease, but make sure you can still feel movement. The movements will be less kicks and more like shifting, as there is so little room in there.
The same goes for if baby suddenly starts kicking around loads, keep and eye if you think baby might be panicking etc.
