oops, no advice as still pregnant with first but be interested to know answers. I got one free with my adventi steriliser, wondering if any good too

I have a Lansinoh one. Don't use it lots but it does the job.

Get a cheap one to hand express some milk off when you're engorged, make it less painful & easier for baby to latch. Milk can be fed to baby in a little cup if you want.

I had electric pump but that's not good early on. Far too strong. Manual is gentler.

Mines tommee tippee. Avent, medela, Lansinoh, any other big brand would do, should do the job.

Apparently Tommee tippee is on offer at tesco at the mo. Saw a post where manual pump is currently £10 FYI :)
