What kind of pain/ discomfort is "normal" at 33 weeks?

Feel stupid for asking but up until now I haven't had any discomfort as such, though for last few days the bump is sore and goes hard a lot.
Getting paranoid I will go into early labour (I commute a long way to work and don't want to give birth on a train!)
Is it normal to have a sore bump at this point or does it mean something is imminent??
Thanks!

I'm 33 weeks too and am getting Braxton hicks most days which are tight but not sore, where are you sore? I was sore down below around 19w but that's eased off now. Am feeling uncomfortable ( baby is breach) getting up and in and out the car is a struggle, hoping these next 6 weeks fly by...
Congratulations!

Hi thereSmile I'm 33wks too, and have also been fine and problem free up until recently.

I have Braxton hicks occasionally, what is more uncomfortable is when baby moves up high under my ribs. Have some stretching feelings, and had some earlier in the pg which I assume I'd just baby moving and growing.

Good luck! Grin

If you are worried give your midwife a call or go to hospital just to double check? I had both of mine early so its best to double check.

Thanks all. It's better today. I think I was just feeling stretched and sore, there is not much room in there!
Was just finding the Braxton Hicks sore as my bump feels pretty tightly packed already. The soreness was at the top and I notice it more at night...in the morning it is fine
