Currently 39+3 and had enough. This is dc2, dd came at 39 weeks all by herself so I was naively expecting this one to be early too Hmm
Anyone want to wait with me? and obsess about every twinge, pain, niggle Shock

Yes yes yes except I'm only 38+6 (based on revised dates from dating scan which brought forward edd by 6 days) and dd1 arrived at 40+9. There is no reason for me to expect anything other than a late arrival but I'm sooooooooo uncomfortable and knackered and just want this baby OUT!!!

Ericadm · 11/01/2014 08:32

Yes, me! I am only 36+1 weeks but I have been told that this baby is BIG! My previous baby was small and did a LOT of damage on the way out, so I don't really want to give birth to an 8 pounder! First baby arrived at 38+1 so I am hoping this one will be early too but I know there is no rule! I have started on the curry and pineapple juice yesterday!

An 8 pounder isn't that big ShockGrin

DS was 8lb9 and I'm now 38 weeks with DD who will almost certainly be larger. Confused

MrsPatMustard · 11/01/2014 08:43

Yep. Am 37+5 but can't walk / stand for more than 10 minutes due to backache now and starting to get cabin fever stuck being stuck around the house all day. Am also reaching a point where even my maternity clothes are getting tight now - if this baby doesn't come soon I will be reduced to wearing the bedlinen....

Ericadm · 11/01/2014 08:43

Yes, I know it is not that big but my first was less than 6 pounds and had to come out with forceps plus gave me a 3rd degree tear. So I am not trying with an 8+ pounder, I'll be asking for a section!

lastnightopenedmyeyes · 11/01/2014 08:46

Bigger babies are often easier to deliver naturally due to gravity helping you. Here's hoping both of us have an easier time of it 2nd time around anyway.

I had a 2nd degree tear and a massive haemorrhage last time so I know what it's like to be fearful.

lastnightopenedmyeyes · 11/01/2014 08:47

MrsPat I'm the same with clothes. Just want to live in my PJs but then I feel really lethargic and rubbish Hmm

lastnight Am seriously thinking about getting the tent out of the shed and trying that on for size...
