Back pain following epidural

Just looking for some advice as google isn't really helping me - my baby girl arrived early on Sunday morning and I had an epidural for pain relief during the birth. Everything seems to be fine post-delivery but I'm getting bad backache/soreness at the base of my spine. I'm taking ibuprofen and paracetamol and having warm baths but wondered if anyone knew if I'd be ok using deep heat on the affected area? All I have there is a small but deep bruise from the needle.

I'm finding it really uncomfortable both sitting and standing and I'm finding it hard when breastfeeding as I can't get comfortable.

Any advice would be appreciated Smile

I used a hot water bottle, would that work for you? - don't know about deep heat.
