More frequent braxton hicks, completely painless but very uncomfortable at times.

Very frequent, loose, bowel movements (sorry tmi!!)

Back ache

Aching legs

General 'pre-menstrual feeling'

Extremely disrupted sleep

Aching pelvis/hips

Feel very heavy, like every movement is a MASSIVE chore

All this has hit me in the last week at once, im 38 weeks pg now...

Not sure but I've been feel like that everyday for last couple weeks as I'm 40+2 now.
Hope something happens for you soon x

Sounds like it's all gearing up doesn't it! Could still be a few days, but I remember similar with dc2, I think your body starts preparing itself without you even knowing, then you start notice the sorts of things your describe and then it just sort of starts! Hope not too long to wait for you, I'm due end of next week and haven't quite got that achy, periody stage yet, walking a lot def brings on the bh a lot though so am take it easy as my family help doesn't charge in until end of this week!! Need Xmas over first, so much lovely telly! Best of luck.

louise same here, couldn't care less about christmas. Almost 38 weeks and got similar 'gearing up' type symptoms. Fear it could be another 3-4 weeks of this though.
Definitely started feeling more tired, periody painy and sleeping worse the past couple of days. More diarrhea (sorry tmi) and generally low energy. Let's hope it isn't too long for us!

38 weeks on Boxing Day - exactly same symptoms as you describe since Friday. Really hoping baby stays put for next 24 hours, so I don't miss Christmas with DD, but happy for baby to make an appearance anytime after!

RedRobin1 · 24/12/2013 20:26

38 weeks today and have all of the same symptoms as you!

I really hope baby arrives soon (after tomorrow though)

Fed up of pregnancy discomforts and can't wait to meet him or her.
