Chances of labour before elcs

Hi this is my third child.
1st was born due date by assisted delivery, 2nd born 38+4 by elcs (showed signs of preterm labour at 34 but they stopped).

This time round I am planning to book an elcs but if I go into labour before, providing i don't freak out when I get to the hospital (in which case I will go for my section) I will attempt vbac.

I was just wondering I know pregnancy gestation scary women to women and baby to baby but I'm curious to know how likely it is I could go into labour before an elcs date?

Probably a case of how long is a piece of string I'm afraid!

I decided I wanted an elcs on my due date. Spent every day of my pregnancy changing my mind about whether to try for a Vbac.
Elcs was booked in for 41 weeks.
I went in to labour beforehand though. Decided to 'give it a go' but ended up with another emcs.

I went into labour two days before my pre booked section day ... it all went too quick and I ended up with VBAC . No time to get into theatre / too dilated etc . So even with plans it doesn't always go how you think ... wouldn't change it now though x
