Was supposed to be yesterday but they were too busy to take me in.

VERY scared and may as well have used my lovely little birthplan as loo roll but also getting a little excited.

Eep, should hear back in the next hour then go in. Smile Sad Angry ShockBlush Confused Grin - All apply!

Thanks yogafan!

Hope you go naturally before then (if that's what you are hoping for, I think most of us inductees were! Grin)

Will keep my fingers crossed for you!

What have they started you with hippy? Hope it goes smoothly for you - I had quite a lot of waiting and pacing the hospital before getting going (I was induced with DD 2 years ago, despite being all geared up for home birth!)

Once it started it was quick and exciting, fingers crossed for you!

xx

Good luck! I am booked in for induction at 37+2 tomorrow! I never even thought about them being too busy, I'll be gutted if I have to wait longer Sad

yogafan · 19/12/2013 17:34

Good luck Felix! Hopefully we'll all have our babies soon. Exciting...

everythinghippie29 · 20/12/2013 13:40

Good luck Felix, how are you getting on?

I hope it all went ahead as planned for you.

My little one arrived after just one pessary at 6.23 this morning. Induction was tough and it did lead to further intervention, but you know what? Its honestly true, when it happens you just don't care and all the pain just melts away when they give you your baby!

Grin Thanks

Good luck!

Wow congrats!! Glad it went well for you and baby Smile

Had pessary inserted at 10.30am this morning and nothing happening yet. So playing the waiting game. Very boring on labour ward, I hope something happens soon Hmm

kchapper5 · 20/12/2013 14:17

Wow congrats my pessary was at 4pm yesterday contractions through the night then all gone this morning :(

yogafan · 20/12/2013 15:16

Congrats hippie - so pleased you have your baby safe and well, enjoy! Well done.

Good luck Felix and kchapper5 - hope things speed up now and go smoothly for you. The waiting, pain and exhaustion are tough. Hang on in there, as hippie says - it will all be worth it.

Congrats kchapper! What a lovely name. Well I narrowly avoided induction and had Matilda yesterday morning (40+13) She's lovely. Hope you enjoy your babies and recover well. I would love to have a bit of sleep at some point - hope you guys get some too.

All the best to Felix...

everythinghippie29 · 23/12/2013 21:38
