Puerperal fever

Forgive me asking but is anyone here knowledgeable about this condition?

There is a thread here that I am concerned about,

Have PM'd the OP but not sure if she has gone offline. Can anyone post any more than I have about it?

I really think she needs seeing asap. I may be wrong but it's bothering me.

She said the midwife has seen her. If she had puerperal fever her lochia would smell really offensive would it not? It does sound like she has an infection though, maybe a bit of retained placenta? Don't know what to suggest really.
