Waterbirthing - what do you wear?

Considering a water birth for 2nd baby, it wasn't an option for the first. Just wondering what other people wore in the birthing pool? I don't know if I like the idea of being completely naked... what did you do?

I wore an old string bikini top, and was under the illusion that water wasn't see through and no one could see anything…strange thing, labour!

I didn't fancy a tankini/tshirt as I thought it would get cold when wet bits were not underwater as it were. In the event, the room was very warm and I didn't notice the water temperature so might have been OK. I was happy in the bikini though.

first time i was naked, and I am not a person who generally does naked-ness. I surprised myself!
second time I wore a tankini top

Most people will say you won't care but I wore my top half of my maternity swim suit - a tankini I suppose it was.

I actually changed into it mid-labour (god knows how!) and i appreciated it, especially walking from bed to pool which seemed to take about 5mins as though v small room, contractions every 10 secs, it felt like!

I put on my tankini top and then promptly took it off again and got in naked. I was in transition though. Didn't give a shit about anything except getting her out.
