From what people have told me, mIdwives etc, i was just expecting a v. quick experience but have been having cramps/mild contraction feelings on-off for 3 days. Wondering if this will mean barely an official first stage and then all systems go bingo 10 cm dilated when the time comes. I.e. Be ready for hospital as there won't be much warning? Is that how your birth with DC4 went? How did it compare to the other 3? Tell me your stories. My previous ones been v. quick also early(DC1 36 wks, prob officially in labour for 2-3 hrs);DS2 38wks + 1 , 1 1/2 hrs start to finish, and DS3 2 hrs on DD). Thoughts? Not used to these false alarms, though I was crampy with DS3.
