Went up to the assesment unit lastnight due to not much fetal movement and they said it sounds like im in slow labour and kept me in overnight for obs, all is fine and they gave me 2 sweeps, im 2cm dilated but im so anxious about going into labour its unreal, im having (well trying for) a vbac but i am really really scared. I know i want an epidural im just frightened! Im thinking i wish i had opted for an elcs. Just need to vent really, i think its the fact of not knowing what to expect thats cracking me up Sad

I'm due dc3 on xmas day.
DS1 was an emcs following induction, back to back, unreal pains and an epidural. DD1 was a successful VBAC on gas and air!! Smile
It's all very frightening isn't it!
Good luck!!

Please don't be scared. Do as much as possible to sTay relaxed and calm. I gave birth 2 days ago to my second and yes it was painful but my body knew what to do and it was amazing (I never trusted people who said this but I know what they mean now)
You'll be holding your baby soon and labour will become a distant memory x
