What was/is your bleeding like 1 week after birth?

Worried that mine is slightly heavier than was with dc1 and quite 'clotty'...does that sound normal?!

Like a massive period with plenty of clots - sorry if TMI. Gross

Mine was light initially after dc3 to the point where I thought "phew, nothing like last time." Then once I got more active and out and about after a few days it was pretty much what you describe, big clots and a heavy flow.

Very heavy and clotty I got through pack after pack of pads.

Same here, very heavy and clotty, and mine lasted for 4 months !!!

Can I ask a question as Im not sure how it all works... Once you give birth I know you bleed for a while, how long?

When do you have a period?
