Two overdue, third time the same?

What are the chances?

I was 15 days with my first, 6 days with my second and with my third was in labour on her due date and had her just after 12! So hopefully you should be ok but with these babies you never know!

dc1 was 16 days late
dc2 was 3 days late (but after 5 sweeps from 38 weeks)
dc3 due Christmas day!!

Dd1- 5 days over - 4hrs ish start to finish
Dd2- 9 days over - 1hour start to finish

Dd2 was half down the birth canal from like 39 weeks she just came down before the cervix was ready, she was eager!

Dc2 5days late
Dc3 10days early! Still can't believe it!

Ds1 and dd were both 10 days late. Ds2 was 3 weeks early. It was a real shock!

DC1: induced at 40+14

DC2: induced at 40+13

I'm 36 weeks with DC3 and would just like to have a normal, on time, spontaneous labour. It's not too much to ask, is it?!

Dc1 4 days late (induced)
Dc2 15 days late (induced)
Dc3 10 days late - spontaneous labour after a sweep

The past couple of days I've had more discharge and shooting pains down there. I assume it's because baby's head is low but I hope it's not too early! Still got 7 weeks!

Oh and stronger/regular (not painful) BH's too

dd 1 5 days over

dd2 1 week over

ds 3rd baby went only 2 days over

Dd 13 days over
Ds1 8 days over
Ds2 8 days over
Ds3 14 days over (born with a lot of hair and was the lightest of the four)

They were all fairly quick births though - marathon pregnancy, sprint labour.
I think I'd be in shock to have a baby before a due date - we'll see what happens next time!

DC1- 40+10
DC2- 40+11
DC3- 40+13
DC4- 40+10 (hospital dates), or 17 (my dates) If she had been born when she wanted, she would have been 40 + 14 (my dates) but she couldn't get out.

This one is just pushing down into y pelvis. Just no idea if I'll have that long drawn out process then baby will fly out again lol but I pray I don't go over again

Spoke to midwife earlier as these BH's are every 15 mins or so. Every day. More so when I'm active. Hard not to be with two under three.

She said to monitor it and if it keeps happening or gets more I need to have steroids for babies lungs if I think it's going to come before 37 weeks. Great....

Still here.. Will be 38weeks on Sunday.

BH's are still very strong and becoming more regular. Along with period cramps/backache

Baby's movements are very strong and like a pushing or grinding downward which aches my womb? And downstairs. The head movements are very odd

Feels like it wants out, but who knows. With a dull ache ?

Dd1- 40+5 just under 3 hrs
dd2-40+9 1 hour

What do you think the chances are for being late again?

All 4 of mine were late - sorry. 40+14, 40+10, 40+10, 40+7. Some of us just have long gestational whatsits, I reckon.

I was two weeks late with my first two, induced with both - that took 5 days to get me started!
Third elective c-section
Ttc no 4... Part of me thinks to try vbac, but I'd rather a c-section than being induced again! And it depends on my spd.... And even number 4 turning up lol

DS1 - 2 days late (though waters broke the day before EDD. had to be induced)

DS2 - 2 weeks late (was induced 40 + 11)

DS3 - 6 days late

DS4 - ELSC so 5 days early

DS5 - VBAC, 9 days late

DD - VBAC, 6 days late

#7 - due mid July and I hope for a week late, it would be better from school POV.
I can't be induced, so if nothing happens naturally I'll have to have ELSC at 42 weeks.
but you can never tell, this one might just decide to come early or if breech etc it will be another section anyway, booked probably at about 39 weeks.

I am expecting to be overdue as the last two were, but I swear this baby is trying to push out at different times of each day. And as if my cervix is doing something, maybe getting ready?

It's funny because with the last two the midwives didn't think I'd go over for how my body was preparing (I also had sweeps at 40weeks) and with dd2 she could've been born at around 39 weeks because at my 38+something check she said that baby was half down the birth canal already before the cervix had started opening. So if anything she just came down too eagerly which made her more late but super bomb fast to come out

Does this baby have the same father? Cos that can influence gestation. If so, it's likely to be similar length of pregnancy.

I had funny periods before conceiving. I got my periods back when dd2 was 7mo. Still breastfed so that may have made them funny.. I had like two regular, then two odd ones then fell pregnant. My original due date was 16.01.14 from my lmp it still should be but the scan put it to 26.01.14....

38+2 now.. Midwife says she doesn't think it'll be too long but they said that with my overdue two!

Still here.. Baby seems like it wants out but nothing!
