When did u get your show/plug?

Hi, all in the title really. I'm 25+3 and I know what to expect with them just don't know when so when did u get it ladies? And as horrible as it sounds lol what were you doing? Did it come out with a wee or am I going to et it when shopping

Get it? Do you mean lose it?

Mine came away during labour all 3 times.

2 kids. Never spotted a show.

It's basically just like thick discharge, so even if some came away while you were out shopping, you'd be unlikely to notice until you got home.

Mine came away in bits in the early stages of labour both times. Noticed it when wiping.

Mine came away as I went to pee 2 days before my waters broke out of nowhere at 40+2. Big jelly/ brown thing about the size of a small tangerine.

Never saw it. I assume it came out when my waters went with a bang in labour, but obviously my mind was elsewhere at that point, so I didn't think to look for it!

I lost some clear mucus (no blood) at about 37 weeks.

Had a bloody show (and alot of it!!!) the morning after my due date, dd arrived 7 hours later!

I had mine almost 4 weeks ago at 35+6. Am due in 2 days time and have had a very miserable month as a result .

It must have been during labour I never noticed.

Must've been during labour here too - no knowledge of it!

A bit on the Friday (noticed on loo), big bit on the Saturday at friend's bbq (again in loo), waters broke at 2am Sunday, baby arrived 2am Tuesday.

Two days before I delivered, was sticky stuff in pants and after a loo visit, like heavy discharge, rather than a full show.

Lost mine at 37+4 on the loo, noticed it when I wiped. Waters broke less than 2 hours later. Baby arrived less than 3 hours after that.

41w, contractions had started at 3.30 am, noticed my bloody show when wiping at 5.50 - seemed to spend a lot of early labour on the loo - felt comfy there! DD arrived at 12.05 Mine didn't come away en masse - just a streak each time I wiped for a bit.

Bloody show at 10.00am & DD arrived at 8pm

No show for me - waters just popped and made a mess every where. Don't worry about show etc, trust me you will know when you are in labour. Had my DS1 4 months ago and had all the same anxieties as you. I would check the toilet tissue after each wee from about 36 weeks onwards.. Seems really silly now.

Mine came away exactly a week before ds arrived. What I didn't realise is it repairs itself, so I lost more the next night, and the next...
I only really noticed it when I wiped but my goodness there was a lot!!!

Thanks for the replies, I Gould mention I have bad baby brain and I'm actually 35+5 today not te twenty odd I said haha so will be expecting it soon!

Probably some time in the next 6 weeks or so, anyway...

Mine came around 36 weeks. DD was induced almost six weeks later.

Never had a show.

Mine caught me by surprise at 39+6 at 3:30pm. Contractions started about an hour later, DD was born at 8:30pm!
