Does anyone know if the Royal Free have amenity/single rooms in their ward(s)?

Hello lovelies,

Apologies if this is a repeat thread but i tried searching the site but came up with nothing.

I've had a traumatic emergency c-section and 4 days at the recovery ward in RF back in 2004 with my son and promised myself that the next time I give birth I would try and get a single/side room.

I vaguely remember during the sunday tour around the ward about being able to book a private single room at around £250

I've researched on the net and even called the labour ward about it but came up with nothing and a "no single room available" answer and was wondering if someone knows if the amenity rooms are definitely not available at RF and if you used one, how much and how did you book it?

No idea regarding availability, maybe speak to a Consultants' secretary.
Try Miss Kadir or Dr Econimedes, who are heads of antenatal, I think.
Look on your scan reports for consultants to ask perhaps.
