Hi ladies,

I'm about to travel to the hospital to be induced at 39+3 (due to gestational diabetes). I'm half excited, half terrified! Any last minute tips or advice for a first time mum to be?

xx

Just go with the flow and ask lots of questions if you don't know what is going on. You will be fine. Might even enjoy it Smile. Exciting isn't it! Good luck.

V excited for you! It will hurt so much but remember that you will not die and it is normal to feel like you will....I always wished somebody had told me that.

Lots of deep controlled breathing and wait as long as you can before having each pain relief as they all stop working properly after a while.

Good luck, enjoy and ride the pain! I've done it 3 times so it can't be that bad!

Good luck, it won't be long until
you're holding your precious baby, enjoy every minute it goes by far too quickly Smile

how very exciting, hope it goes well, remember to enjoy it, move as much as you feel you want to (prob be monitored but the machines have wheels!) when dc arrives if you are not mobile keep buzzer to hand and call if you need or want anything and make sure they park baby close enough so you can reach him or her!
