Feeling unwell after sweep

Had sweep this morning at 41 weeks with baby 3.
The actual sweep was fine. didn't feel anything.
50% effaced and was 2cm dilated. She felt baby's head saying well engaged.
After we popped to tesco and I felt hot and strange. have felt this all pm.
very tired and flustered with on - off cramping.
Did anyone else feel like this after and did it work?

Had sweep with dc2 which sent me into labour last time but can't remember feeling like this.

How are you today Freckledandspecs?

could be stomach bug. but I would check with hospital anyways. They can check you over blood pressure urine and so on, trace baby, just to make sure all is well.

I felt like that for about 24 hours after my first sweep. really out of sorts and I didn't get a good nights sleep. Unfortunately it took another two sweeps and an induction for my baby to come but just wanted to let you know it happened to me too.

Hi everyone.
Just an update.
my baby boy was born at 7.20am Wednesday morning.
so yes - I reckon the sweep worked again for me and that feeling unwell was the prelabour.
All the best to all who are due and read this.
